Clergy 

The clergy at St. Brigid Catholic Church have dedicated their lives to the service of others. 
The sacrament of Holy Orders affords us so many gifts and blessings.

Fr. Michael Moore is pastor of St. Brigid's.  Raised in Oregon, he joined a missionary society and was ordained in Slovakia in 1997.  After three years of teaching at a Catholic college and high school, he came to the central valley of California.  He came to St. Brigid's in 2006.

Deacon Anthony Silveira, O.P.L. is a permanent deacon.  He was ordained deacon in 2003 and is a member of the Dominican family.

Deacon John Sousa was born in St. Jorge, Azores Islands. He came to the United States at the age of seventeen. He married Maria Costa in 1975. They have three sons: John Paul, Joseph and Albert. John is superintendent at Kit Carson Union School District and plans to retire in June 2011 so he can devote more time to his deacon ministry. John was ordained a deacon on January 15, 2011.
